Ology March Movie Madness Begins. Hunger Games vs. Twilight!
It’s March. Apparently there’s something called March Madness. I don’t take basketball seriously. Maybe if they start playing real basketball with human heads like the ANCIENT MAYANS TAUGHT US…. but that’s neither here nor there. What is here is Ology’s great March Movie Madness. Here, you can vote on what you’re most excited to see. This is not about what you think is going to be the best, nor what you think is going to gross the highest at the box office, but what you will willingly go to see at midnight with your best friend.
Today we’re starting with the highly anticipated teen dramas Twlight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 and Hunger Games as well as the comedy contestants 21 Jump Street and The Dictator. You’re more than welcome to plead your cases in the comment sections. Tweet this, share this, do everything you can to make your most anticipated film number one. This is about you, you beautiful stallion of movie prowess.
Box Office Round Up (Feb 10th- 12th)
Welcome back to the workweek grind ya’ll! I hope your weekend was as nice as mine was. This weekend we saw a big increase in ticket sales, probably because of Valentine’s Day, so it’s not really a surprise to see The Vow in the number one spot. However, I am disgusted to see thatThe Phantom Menace (3D) even made the list. Before I go into a rant, here are the Box Office figures.

Okay now that everyone is on the same page, I’ll pick up from where I left off… WHAT IS WRONG WITH SOME PEOPLE! I think we can all agree, as a nation, that the worst thing to happen to Star Wars were Episodes I-III. Don’t even try to disagree with me because you all know that this is a fact! So someone please explain to me how, on earth, did this movie make 23 million dollars? All I can is that money reeks of Jedi mind tricks and selling out. I just do not understand how people could be so stupid to think that 3D (which I hate) could actually improve a crappy movie! It just makes me sick to my stomach. Ever wonder why the rest of the world thinks America is full of morons, well now you have your answer.
On a different note, it looks like men across America conceded and took their girlfriend to seeThe Vow this weekend. I’m not judging, in fact I am pretty sure that’s exactly what I will be doing on Tuesday night. I could say that I am looking forward to watching it, but I think we all know that’s a lie.
If you saw any movies this weekend worth mentioning or are looking for some advice for what to watch on Valentine’s Day get in contact with us.
